Our first meet is Wednesday, May 30 at Jefferson Township.  Here's a summary of info in this message, followed by the full details.

Detail:

1. Jefferson Township - 4151 Jefferson Township, Marietta, GA 30066
2. Parking - The parking lot by the pool is small, but there is additional parking at the Cobb Community Church on Sandy Plains, just north of the entrance to Jefferson Township.  There is a cut through path from that parking lot to the pool area.
3. Arrival Time - 5:00pm arrival and get checked in; our team will warm up at 5:30pm, and the meet will begin at 6:00pm.
4. Arrival Protocol - swimmers check in with coaches to receive their lists of events.  Some families like to write the events on their arms with Sharpie, other families keep up with the paper list.  Either way is fine.  Volunteers check in with Martha.  Volunteers wear your team T-shirts!
5. Concessions - There will be a concession stand with food, drinks and candy.  Warning: the kids will eat a lot of candy at the swim meets.
6. Weather - We will hold the meet even if the weather looks bad.  We may have some delays due to thunderstorms, but because of the difficulty in rescheduling so many people, it is better to finish up as much of the meet as possible on the originally scheduled night.  The meets usually finish sometime between 9pm and 10pm.  Both teams for this meet are small, which means the meet will be on the shorter side, so even if we have some weather delays, I expect us to finish around 10 or soon after.  Please don't leave the meet early; but if you must leave, let me or Coach Mariah know.
