Hi Lakers,

At last!  The long-awaited details of our upcoming season!

Our season will feel very similar to past seasons.  The exception will be that all of our swim meets will be at the Loch Highland pool with only our team present.  We will not be mixing with other teams.  We also have a professional coach, Andy Gibbons, who has several years of coaching experience under his belt, and we are excited about the new energy he is bringing to our team.

Season begins Monday, May 17, and ends Friday, July 2

PRACTICE:

Monday - Friday of every week during our season

Age 4 at 5:30pm - 6:00pm

Ages 5-8 at 6:00pm - 6:45pm

Ages 9 and up at 6:45pm - 7:30pm

MEETS:

Thursday, June 3 at 6pm at the Loch Highland Pool

Thursday, June 10 at 6pm at the Loch Highland Pool

Thursday, June 17 at 6pm at the Loch Highland Pool

Thursday, June 24 at 6pm at the Loch Highland Pool

Thursday, July 1 at 6pm at the Loch Highland Pool

How Will This Season Be Different Than Previous Seasons?

1. We are operating independently of the Cobb Summer Swim League
2. Swim meets will be comprised of Loch Highland swim families ONLY
3. There is a possibility that we may compete against other neighborhood teams VIRTUALLY, but the details have not been hammered out at this time
4. There will be no concessions stand during swim meets

Swim Suits and Gear

Team Suits - Highly recommended (but not mandatory)

Swim Caps - Mandatory

Goggles - Highly recommended (but not mandatory)

You can purchase all your gear at All American Swim in King Plaza on Hwy 92.  Tell them you are swimming with Loch Highland, and they will help you get fitted with a suit.  The suit prices are approximately $20 for boys and $30 for girls.  It's very similar to previous years' suits, so feel free to use hand-me-down suits if you have them.  As for swim caps and goggles, you can wear any style or color that you like.
